I’ve read other books by Ms. Thianna D in the past, and I also “followed” Season 1 of Corbin’s Bend as they were being released.  I can say though, that out of all of the Corbin’s books that I have read so far, this one has been my favorite.

While to me it seemed that there was more sex that took place during this story than the others, Ms. D wrote about it in such a way that it was still classy and wasn’t crude in any way.  Also, as you read the story and understand the characters, especially Dina, then the sex does make a lot of sense.

One thing that I completely enjoyed about this book was Dina’s character, and her reaction to sex.  I believe that Ms. D did a great job at having Dina vocalize her fears, and her thoughts, about what was happening to her during sex.  And the emotions that she was feeling were very realistic as well.  I’m sure at one point or another, every woman has gone through what Dina was going through learning more about her sexuality.

I did think that Brandon’s character was really well written as well.  Ms. D thought to add details that may have been overlooked by some authors, but they really added to the story.  Even bringing the other characters from the past books, as well as others from the community, was done extremely well.  They didn’t overtake the scenes they were involved in, they added to it massively.

Overall, if the rest of the books in this season of Corbin’s Bend are as good as this one was, I can tell this will be my favorite series of the year!

Thanks so much for featuring my book on release day. It seems like every book out is my favorite. I suppose all authors are that way. Each book is our baby we’re launching into the world. But there are a few things about Chemistry of Attraction that stand out to me. Probably the biggest is that Dina is a lot like me, so giving her a happy ending made me feel good – hey! I’m still looking for my prince *wink*. But I also loved the relationship between Brandon and Dina. I always seek to make each relationship real. For instance, my heroines are more likely to ask for a spanking by saying “spank me” than by doing something to get one. And Brandon? Well, hell, he’s a retired marine with tattoos from Texas. He even has a Stetson. Could it get any better?
